Another year – another rigging conference – albeit in a different guise. In our last blog we spoke a little about the new format for this year's seminar programme. We're immensely excited to see months of planning come together and we hope that the refresh will make for an exciting and perhaps unpredictable (in the best way) few days.
What's also exciting and also something we could have never predicted is that our MD, Alan Jacobi or AJ as he's better known has been nominated for a Gottelier award at this year's show. The Gottelier Award is reserved for those who have made invaluable contributions to the development of our industry and is named after late lighting designer and industry commentator Tony Gottelier. It was launched in 2007 to recognise product developers who have made significant and sustained contributions to the advancement of entertainment, presentation or installation technology.
The winner will be announced at the PLASA Show on the evening of Monday 16th September. Watch this space....
