Mary Poppins Tour 2016

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's musical, Mary Poppins, opened in the West End in 2004 and ran for three years. SInce then, over 11 million people worldwide have seen the show, which returned to the UK in October 2016, and toured the country until early 2017.

Packed with stunning special effects, production manager, Chris Boone brought Unusual Rigging on board in order to help him re-create the exact Disney magic in every venue. For this Unusual has:
 

• supplied over 60 chain hoists to suspend the tour
• carried out site visits at each venue to confirm the tour is feasible
• provided full rigging services supported by drawings and engineering solutions for each venue
• supplied a team of 14 riggers, working day and night to transport the show from venue to venue.
